The machine is not cooling properly, and the ice cubes are thin.
How has the product been used?
Please check the following:
Place the ice maker on a level surface, away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stove, oven, radiator). Ensure there is at least 10 cm of space between the back/sides of the unit and the walls.
The appliance should remain still for at least 1 hour before being started. This allows the cooling system to stabilize.
Do not place the unit in direct sunlight, as this affects the sensors.
Has the ice maker been regularly descaled/cleaned?
Also check the filter on the outside of the product. It may need to be cleaned or vacuumed. If there is dust in the filter, the fan may not function properly, and the machine will not be able to produce ice.
What is the dB on your ice makers?
ICM1-600 is max 58dB
ICE-12S is max 52dB
I cannot find any info if the machine can be in operation 24/7? Meaning you always have ice in the machine. Or if the machine should produce the required amount of ice and then you turn it off. The produced ice should then be stored in a freezer.
You can run the machine as needed to produce ice.
Once the desired amount is ready, it's best to transfer the ice to a freezer and turn off the machine. Leaving it on 24/7 is not recommended, as it may lead to unnecessary wear and tear, and the ice will melt and be recycled into new cubes, which could affect freshness and energy usage.
I don't notice any difference between the sizes of ice cubes.
Indeed the difference is not very big. For reference, the regular size is 2.4x3.4 cm and the small is small is 2.2x3.2 cm. The main difference is the total of ice cubes it can produce with the different sizes. With regular size it will produce 48 cubes and with the small size, 56. So if you have a large gathering or need to focus on quantity, we suggest using the small size!
